Do you offer free trials?

Yes, we offer free trials for the competitive program and one free class for any recreational member. Come check out the best boxing gym in Scarborough, let Horace put you through a work-out, you won't regret it!



What equipment do I need?

A skipping rope, handwraps and a pair of gloves are all that is needed to get started. While these items are available for use at the gym, all members are encouraged to purchase their own personal gear for safety and hygiene. Please bring your own indoor shoes and workout clothes.


Competitors are also encouraged to purchase their own sparring gloves, headgear, hipguards and mouthguards.

All necessary gear is available for purchase through the program.



Why should I choose your gym?

Boxing workouts are proven to be the best workouts for leaning, toning, and total fitness, and we believe in making our workouts interesting and progressive. So you will not only be getting fit, but learning and keeping your mind active at the same time. There is also a complete fitness gym packages available.


For those wishing to compete, we have the strongest competitive program in Scarborough. We believe in training smart fighters. Strong defense, technical proficiency and tactical awareness are all focal points in our training. When you are ready to compete in the ring, you will be a cut above the average. 



Is the program "beginner" friendly"

Absolutely. Boxercise classes are geared toward members of all fitness and technical levels. 

The competitive program strongly focuses on basics in the beginning to ensure all the boxers have a strong technical foundation.



How old do I have to be to compete?

Boxing Ontario's minimum age for competition is 11 years old, however you can come and train if you are younger to be ready when you turn 11.



Do you offer sparring?

Yes, to those in the competitive program and registered with Boxing Ontario. The decision of when you are ready to spar will be made by the 

coach after assessment.



How long do I have to train before I can compete?

There is no guaranteed answer for this, it all depends on your attendance and background. As the coach gives personal attention every day to each competitor, if you wish to fight you are strongly encouraged to be at the boxing gym as much as possible, this is the best way to progress to competing.
